about

Welcome to the first Album of Arambolla Project.

The album its a live recording from a concert, in Goa, India, the 6th of March 2016.

Davide Swarup, the well known Hang pioneer, organised a concert and he invited few musicians he likes to play with.

It was the first time that they have played all together.

Everything you hear, it was improvised, created in the moment.

The musicians have sat. Someone started to play something, and others musicians were following the inspiration of the moment and this album was created, live in the moment.

Here the beginning of Arambolla Project.

Erich Lehna: Guitar FX
Davide Swarup: Handpan
Constantin Kayatma: Electronix
Julien Eden: Violin

"I was listenig to the master while thinking about the title: and exactly at the first track, i could "hear "that no musicians knew what to play.
I can hear the search, the given space, the listening of the musicians.

And suddenly, as magic, one if us start "something" and immediately the others got inspired and "Knew" without "knowing" what to play.

The magic of creating in the moment, no thoughts, no plans, just breath, wait and listen.

From here the title, Depths of the Unknown.

about

Davide Swarup Arambol, India

Davide Swarup is often said to be a « soul player ». As a hang musician, a very unique one, he inspires and blows the mind away from thoughts or mental mechanisms.
Listening to his melodies is a way of meditating. Davide himself plays in a meditative state, allowing the music to come to him, without the ego or any kind of control interfering.
